Privacy notice

Last updated: 2 June 2026

Pact (operating pactstore.com) takes your privacy seriously. This notice explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over it. It applies if you visit our site, buy from us, or get in touch.

Who we are

Pact is the data controller for personal information collected through pactstore.com.

Contact: support@pactstore.com

What we collect

  • Contact details — your name, billing and shipping address, email, and phone number.
  • Order information — what you bought, when, and order history. Payment details are handled by our payment processors; we don't see or store your card number.
  • Account information — login details if you create an account, and your saved preferences.
  • Site usage — IP address, browser, device, and pages visited, via cookies and similar technologies.
  • Communications — anything you send us by email or via our contact form.

How we use it

  • To fulfil your order — process payment, ship, handle returns, and send order updates.
  • To run your account — login, saved addresses, order history.
  • To improve the site — understand what's working and what isn't.
  • To respond when you get in touch.
  • To send marketing, only if you've opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any marketing email.
  • To meet legal obligations and protect against fraud.

Lawful basis (UK GDPR)

We process your information under one of these bases: performance of our contract with you (orders), legitimate interests (running and improving Pact), legal obligation (records, tax, fraud prevention), or consent (marketing).

Who we share with

  • Shopify — our ecommerce platform, which hosts the store and processes orders on our behalf.
  • Payment processors — to take payment securely.
  • Couriers and fulfilment partners — to deliver your order.
  • Analytics providers — to understand site usage.
  • Authorities — where required by law.

International transfers

Some of our service providers process data outside the UK or European Economic Area. Where they do, we rely on UK-approved transfer mechanisms (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) to protect your information.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as required for accounting and tax purposes. Account data is kept while your account is active. Marketing data is kept until you opt out.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your personal information. You can also object to certain processing or withdraw consent at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, email support@pactstore.com.

You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you believe we've mishandled your data.

Cookies

Our site uses cookies for essential functions (such as your cart), to measure how the site is used, and to support marketing. You can manage your preferences via the cookie banner.
